Qualifications
Sharron is a registered mental health professional with the British Psychological Society. She earned a MSc medical degree in Forensic Mental Health from Barts & the London School of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London and a MSc in Psychological Sciences, a MA in Social Justice & Education from UCL, a LLM law degree from University of Westminster, and a BA in Applied Behavioral Sciences from NLU. As a Life Strategist, her education aligns with goals to eradicate the deficit model assigned to people of Black / African / Caribbean heritage in the criminal justice, education & mental health systems. Her practice represents a rising field of Life Strategists whose expertise is providing person-centred mental wellness support & guidance. It is a collaborative model of care whereby clients are guided by research and experiences and supported with evidence-based practices to resolve trauma from painful life events. Experience
With more than 20 years’ of combined experience in mental health, emotional support, employment law, education, government policy, and criminal justice, Sharron is often sought out for research projects such as workplace diversity & inclusion for clients: LLoyds, NatWest, Fosters, & Conde’ Nast; juvenile crime and violence for the Greenwich Borough of London, and mental health training for the charity, Victim Support.
The SevenR of Emotional Recovery®, a holistic approach to tackle traumatic life experiences, was created by Sharron. It examines the composition of thoughts, beliefs, & influences from a theoretical and an empirical framework of BEELAPS. BEELAPS is a multidisciplinary approach of 7 disciplines: biology, existentiology, economicology, lawology, artology, psychology & sociology, combined into a methodology that explains human reaction to life experiences & uses an individual’s strengths to develop practical, sustainable solutions proven to support recovery from traumatic experiences as a result of situational or life events.

Community Engagement
Sharron regularly supports the communities where she lives. She is exceptional in communication and public relations with appearances on BBC Radio and ITV as a spokesperson on initiatives for young people. She currently guides post-graduate students in completing their thesis/dissertation, including all phases of design, methodology, literature review, analysis and defense.
